We bought this for my mother following a long illness based on the recommendation of a friend. We were not disappointed. Being initially reluctant towards using a wheelchair, my mum was impressed with this one. She likes the look and how smooth and comfortable a ride it is. From the perspective of pushing it is easy to use, both outdoors and indoors and it folds up easily to put in the car boot. I am 160 cm and it is perfect for me to push but someone who is taller may have to lean a bit. I find the breaks and rear foot pad brackets to help lever the chair up very useful. It took me a tiny bit to work out which side the foot brackets fitted but a couple of coloured dots on the brackets and chair helped solved this for me. I also bought a seat cushion to help raise my mum and to make her ride a bit more comfortable. The seat belt can be very useful.
I find it to be excellent value for money and would recommend it for occasional use.
We purchased this to take our 90 year old grandma on holiday. The wheelchair was great for helping her on and off the plane and wherever we needed to go. It was very easy to fold up and lift in and out of our car and she found it comfortable enough to sit on in the restaurants. The brakes were good, even on some of the steep slopes. We had a little difficulty with the front wheels on some of the old roads - but that was expected. The only problem seemed to be a slightly sharp edge along the brake handle which me and my two sons found quite uncomfortable after pushing the wheelchair for some time (we each took a turn to push the chair). Overall, it's a great lightweight wheelchair for the price.
We bought this recently and it arrived promptly. It seems very well constructed - so time will tell if it is robust enough for longer term use.
We got this as my mother recently fell ill and we needed a wheelchair for our hospital visits. This wheelchair is great. It's very light, strong and durable. Quite nice looking too. I would strongly recommend it, especially at the price!
